We wanted to post the official update that we have arrived in Kansas City! Redding to Salt Lake to Grand Junction to Kansas City and we made it in 8 days and a little more than 1800 miles! We planned the trip to be able to see my brothers and their families as well as some Aunts, Uncles and Grandmas along the way, which was a much overdo visit and a blessing that we were able to see so many of them on this journey!
So, after getting some much needed sleep and getting a little bit orientated, re-orientated for Brandon, to Kansas City, we have enjoyed our first Sunday morning with our new family here at the Boiler Room in downtown.
Brandon and I will be getting some more orientation this week as we begin to transition into our new positions with 24-7 Prayer and the local church community of the Kansas City Boiler Room (KCBR). As we've said before in our previous letters, Brandon is taking a 'Timothy' role (interning, learning the ins and outs of the ministry) with the Team Leader of 24-7 Prayer USA by helping with prayer schedules and projects. I will be helping both 24-7 Prayer and the local KCBR teams with administration in a lot of different forms.
We are both so incredibly excited to see how the Lord has taken our hearts of worship and prayer and combined them with our desire to have a core community of friends to be able to run with, not to mention bringing us so much closer to our biological families as well! To be able to pursue the Love of our Father with passion, power and purity with a group of people who are so dedicated to the Lord and each other has been our biggest dream, and God is putting it all together right before our eyes!
Further updates will come as we begin this new chapter in our story. We love you all so much and appreciate that you are with us!
